1. According to the charging method
(1) AC charging pile
The AC charging pile, commonly known as "slow charging", is fixedly installed outside the electric vehicle and connected to the AC power grid to provide AC power for the on-board charger of the electric vehicle. The AC charging pile only provides power output and has no charging function. The on-board charger needs to be connected to charge the electric vehicle. It is equivalent to just a control power supply.
(2) DC charging pile
The DC charging pile is commonly known as "fast charging". It is a power supply device that is fixedly installed outside the electric vehicle and connected to the AC power grid to provide DC power for the power battery of the non-vehicle electric vehicle. It can directly output direct current to charge the battery of electric vehicles. The output voltage and current can be adjusted in a large range, which can provide sufficient power to realize fast charging of electric vehicles. The charging speed of the DC charging pile is faster, so it is generally installed at the charging station beside the highway.
(3) AC/DC integrated charging pile
The fast charging pile equipment adopts an integrated AC and DC structure. Both DC charging and AC charging can be realized. When there are many charging services during the day, DC mode is used for fast charging. When there are few users in the charging station at night, AC charging can be used for slow charging operation. Touch and keyboard are used for mutual backup control. The touch screen and keyboard are designed to be rainproof and dustproof. Emergency stop switch for emergency shutdown; It is equipped with charging connector placement slot, which can be waterproof.
2. According to installation location
(1) Public charging piles. Construction of charging piles in public parking lots combined with car parking spaces to provide charging services for social vehicles.
(2) Special charging pile. The construction unit has its own parking lot, which is the charging pile used by the internal personnel of the unit.
(3) Self-use charging pile. Building in a personal garage to provide charging piles for private users.
